iFutsal

Five-a-side, organised without the stress

Call-ups, confirmations, teams, results and personal stats in one place, instead of the group chat that never ends.

Closed beta, free, by invitation.

Why iFutsal exists

The weekly game is almost always organised in a chat: who's in, who's out, who dropped out at the last minute. Replies get lost between messages, and someone ends up counting by hand. iFutsal was born in the changing room, among friends who play every week, to keep everything in one place and get, one step at a time, to balanced teams.

How it works

  1. In the app

    Create your community

Found your group's community and invite players with a link. Someone without an account still shows up, with a profile they can claim later.

  2. Coming

    Call up with a link

Create the match, share the link wherever you already talk, on WhatsApp or elsewhere, and everyone answers “I'm in” or “I'm out”. Changed your mind? Open the link again.

  3. Coming

    Pick the teams

For now you build them yourself, splitting the confirmed players into two teams; while someone is working on them, the others can see it. Later the app will suggest them, balanced.

  4. Coming

    Record the result

After the match, the score and the scorers, in half a minute. Appearances and goals go into everyone's profile.

  5. Coming

    Vote the MVP

Those who played vote for the best on the pitch. Votes stay secret: only the winner is announced.

Works on phone, tablet and computer, in Italian and English, with a light or dark theme.

The reason it exists

Balanced teams, not picked by eye

If you play five-a-side with friends every week, you know: picking the teams is the hard part. Odds and evens, “I pick first, then you”, and ten minutes in it's already 5–0: the losing side gives up, the winning side gets bored, and the game is over before the final whistle.

The goal of iFutsal is an algorithm* that builds balanced teams. Over time it will take into account how each person plays (attack, defence, stamina, finishing, who goes in goal), their positions, and who plays best together. That data builds up and is updated match after match, and that is why the beta starts with appearances, results and scorers.

* It is not in the beta: it is among the first things to come after.

Support iFutsal

If you want to join right away as an organiser, or simply lend a hand, there are three access tiers, a donation of any amount and a free sign-up.

Each tier covers one community. The badge arrives with an app update.

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of payment by writing to support@ifutsal.app: we return the full amount, even if you have already received the invitation.

How we handle payment data: privacy policy.

Donation

You choose the amount, on PayPal. It gives nothing in return: it's a thank-you, and it helps keep the servers running.

Free sign-up

Leave your email: when there's room in the beta we'll send you an organiser invitation. A place is not guaranteed, and that is the difference from the tiers.

Frequently asked questions

What is iFutsal?

An app to organise five-a-side with your group: call-ups by link, teams, results and statistics, in one place. It is in closed beta: some features are already there, the others arrive in the order of the roadmap.

Which devices does it work on?

Today it is a web app: it works in the browser on phone, tablet and computer, and you can add it to your Home screen. The iPhone and iPad app will come later, and the web app will stay available for Android and computer users.

Who can join the beta?

The beta is by invitation. As a player, you join with an invitation from whoever organises your community. As an organiser, that is to found one, you join with the free sign-up when there is room, or right away with one of the tiers.

What is the difference between free sign-up and the tiers?

The guarantee. With free sign-up you join the list and get an organiser invitation if and when there is room. With a tier the invitation is certain, within 48 hours of payment.

What happens after I pay?

We check the payment by hand. Within 48 hours you receive an invitation at the address you use on PayPal: with it you sign up and found your community.

When does the Founder year start?

From the end of the beta, not from the payment. During the beta the app is free for everyone, and the year would run out without being of use to you. The end date of the beta has not been decided yet.

How much will it cost after the beta?

It has not been decided yet. Anyone with the Founder or Sponsor tier keeps what the tier includes regardless.

Can I get a refund?

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of payment by writing to support@ifutsal.app: we return the full amount, even if you have already received the invitation. The refund cancels the tier, but beta access stays.

How do you use my data?

On the website we collect only your email, if you request beta access. Payments are handled by PayPal, which tells us the name and email of whoever pays. No analytics or profiling cookies: only the one that remembers the light or dark theme. We count visits in aggregate, without cookies. All the details are in the privacy policy.
